This 9 3/4 IN x 2 7/8 IN thick walled coconut shell carbon block can filter to 5 micron particles. This filter has a chlorine reduction capacity of 10,000 gallons and has a medium particle size. Model MAXETW-975 carbon block cartridge offers greater chlorine reduction than other cartridge types, including granular activated carbon cartridges.
